TriNet is a cloud-based professional employer organization for small and medium-sized businesses. Administrators can import data directly from TriNet into OrgChart. The following is a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) pertaining to TriNet's compatibility with OrgChart.

Q: How do I set up my connection to TriNet?

A: Select the following link to set up a TriNet connection.

Q: Can I pull photos from TriNet into my org charts?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I limit the fields that a user is able to pull from TriNet?

A: Confirm with your TriNet System Administrator that your current API Key Permissions allow selective queries.

Q: What fields can I pull from TriNet?

A: OrgChart supports most TriNet fields, with the following exceptions:

  • 'customFields'

  • 'employeeContacts'

  • 'emergencyContacts'

  • 'nationalIDs'

  • 'homeAddress'

Q: Can I merge data from a secondary source with TriNet data?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I embed org charts (generated from TtriNet data) into my intranet?

A: Yes.

Q: Can I filter which records are included in my org charts?

A: Yes.
