Editable Fields


A plan owner can control which fields are editable within a given plan. This provides better data quality within a planning exercise (e.g. all fields can be displayed but only some can be modified). Reference the Updating Plans topic for more information on how team member can update field values within a plan.

Accessing the Editable Fields Dialog
  1. Open the Plan Explorer.

  2. Mouse over the row associated with a plan.

  3. Click on the button, and then select the Editable Fields menu option. The Editable Fields Dialog is displayed.

Adding Additional Editable Fields
  1. Click on the PencilPad.png icon.

  2. Click on the add_field_icon_editable_fields.pngbutton

  3. Select a Field from the dropdown menu

  4. Add additional fields by repeating steps 2 and 3.

  5. Click OK when done.

Removing Editable Fields
  1. Click on the pencil_icon_editable_fields.png icon.

  2. Click on the delete_editable_field.png icon associated with the field you wish to remove.

  3. Click OK when done.

Reordering Editable Fields
  1. If in Edit Additional Fields mode, click on the pencil_icon_editable_fields.png icon before reordering fields.

  2. Click on any row within the Editable Fields list.

  3. Use the the and arrows to move fields up or down within the list.

  4. Click OK when done.
